Merced Montessori is a nurturing environment that allows each child to grow and bloom at their own pace. Both of my children with very different personalities and needs attended the school with great success. They found a sense of community and family and discovered their own curiosity of learning. Merced Montessori is a unique combinations of the traditional Montessori approach and preschool teachings. My children were able to tap into their curiosity, express themselves with art and music, learn to be good citizens and were beyond prepared for kindergarten. The staff are an extension of my family and I am eternally grateful for all they have done for my children.

It is the policy at Merced Montessori School that no family or child is denied admission because of race, religion, national origin, or political belief. All children who meet the age requirements will be evaluated fairly.
We offer both full day and part day programs ranging from three to five days a week for children 2 through 5 years of age. Our school is open from 7:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. For those only wanting only part-time our part-time session is from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. We recommend that children who are four-years-old and older attend five days per week in preparation for T-K and Kindergarten. However, you may pick any schedule, if you need a Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule for example, we can accommodate that depending on class availability.
We do offer a T-K program as well for those children who missed the age requirement for kindergarten.
We provide a morning and afternoon snack; however, we do not provide lunch, and we ask that you bring a lunch from home. Please look for helpful lunch ideas in our Parent Corner.
